Let the Chasing Begin

We've officially got a roller! Bug has been working so hard on rolling over for over a month and this past week she has finally mastered it. Things are starting to change now that we've got a mover in the house. Now it's time to baby proof the house. I'm not going to go full out with every little trinket, all I'm planning on doing is locking the cabinets with knives and chemicals in them, covering the outlets, and putting blankets over the edge of the fireplace. Nothing too major.

Her first time rolling over from front to back was in her crib after a nap! She had already rolled from back to front at her Bibi's house (my mom) the day before.

A Quick Update

It's been a long short week. I am absolutely exhausted and it's only Tuesday. This week is kinda crazy as we prepare to help our good great friends move to Orlando this weekend. Then, when I get back, I have a staff retreat to attend. It's going to be crazy here until next week and I'm already tired just thinking about it.

Here's a Memorial Day recap:

Not too much to report. We introduced Bug to the kiddie pool. I think she liked it. At least, she didn't fuss when we sat her in there. I joined her in the pool so that she could acclimate easier. I think it would have been better had the water been warmer. 

That pretty much sums up our weekend. I can't remember what we did Saturday or Sunday. I know we went to church on Sunday, but for the life of me I can't remember what happened Saturday! Oi. I don't appreciate it when that happens. 

OH! I had a photo shoot early Saturday morning. I took the most adorable little boy's 1 year pictures! I'll post pictures after his party. I don't want to ruin any surprises.

Then and Now

I found these boots for our maternity shoot and just fell in love with them! I love red boots! In fact, I own a pair myself, so I just had to get these for my little Bug.

The other day I was playing around and found that she fits into them now! This made for an impromptu photo shoot with Mommy and Baby.

I love that we're matching :) It's hard to believe that I bought her those little boots when I was around 37/38 weeks pregnant. Now, at 4 months, she's wearing them! She's officially getting too big. Can time please slow down? I'm trying to do more impromptu photo shoots with my girl to capture all the stages in her life. Tomorrow, I'll have to do a photo dump of all the pictures. She's been a good sport...for the most part. But I guess that's what you get for having a shutter-bug for a mommy.

Decorating help!

My indecisiveness is in full swing! I need help picking curtains! Sorry if I scared you...but this is a big decision and I need some help! 

So here are my choices. I want something light and airy that will highlight my new windows and lighten up our space.

Exactly like the one above, but different colors.

from Urban Outfitters (I'd go with the blue)

I love love love these curtains from Urban Outfitters but they only come in 84" length. I want to hang them all the way from the ceiling and we have 8' ceilings. Unless you think that they'll work anyway.

The colors of my living room are red and a khaki color. I personally think that all of these would complement the color scheme we already have going. But I can't make a decision. Or rather, I already had made a decision but I took too long to order the curtains and now they're out of stock!
